Cadet of The Tri-Semester 2015
As the Cadet of the trimester, I feel content and grateful. It's an important title which is why as a first year cadet, I never expected to earn it freshman year since there are a lot of upperclassmen in the program that have leadership positions, abilities, and seniority.
Once when I turned in the application for Cadet of the Tri, I went straight to the cadet handbook and analyzed everything in it. The categories that I focused the most on were the procedures for reporting in and reporting out of the board, current events, and important names and dates of the Air Force and AFJROTC. I also ensured my uniform was clean and had a proper appearance when time came near to speak to the board.
The best advice to give for cadet of the Tri is to not be nervous but confident. Don’t overthink it. If you come across a question you may not have an answer to, pick the reasonable answer or use general knowledge. Practice will make perfect.
